Established in 2003
The Foundation supports teacher mini grants, college scholarships, the preschool program at Sopori, the LINK before and after school care program, and the Amado-Sahuarita Adult Learning Program, as well as provides resources for educational needs that are not covered by the district’s regular budget. Most recently, the Foundation facilitated in raising money to support special initiatives including: Anza Trail’s fundraising efforts for band uniforms, Walden Grove’s student council summer training program, Anza Trail and SPS A+ School of Excellence spirit shirts, SIS emergency kit supplies, Copper View’s Lego robotic kits, SMS after school sewing program, collaboration with Sopori’s preschool program, and SHS media technology.
Our Goal
Procure resources necessary for long-term sustainability.
Procure and administer endowments for post-secondary education.
Provide educational and professional grants for teachers.
Fund summer enrichment for individual students, as well as groups in financial need.
